Here's how to become a member of the Pejar LALC:

  • You must be an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person.
  • You can reside within the Pejar LALC boundary or have a strong ancestral connection to the area.

We’d like you to become part of our thriving Aboriginal community.

Applying for Membership


A simple written application is all you need! In your application, please state:

  • Your Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage.
  • Your identification as an Aboriginal person.
  • That you are accepted by the Aboriginal community as an Aboriginal person.

Important Note: You can be a member of multiple NSW LALCs, but voting rights are limited to one.

Voting Rights


If you wish to have voting rights within the Pejar LALC, please clearly state this in your application. All applications for voting membership are considered at a valid LALC meeting.
